Career Pathways: Automotive Mechanics & Shop Skills (Entrepreneurship)

This 9-week career readiness program is designed specifically for youth aged 15-25 in special education. Aligned with RTI tiers and PBIS frameworks, the course provides a structured path toward independent living through the lens of auto mechanics. Students will gain foundational knowledge of automotive systems while building the soft skills and professional behaviors necessary for the workplace. The curriculum focuses on identifying tools, understanding engine basics, and practicing safety, all while preparing for the transition to employment and a self-sufficient lifestyle.
